Chronicles of Phyx - Character Sheet: Vex

Yeah, everyone's favorite murderer who ranges from spree killing to mass murdering! Nothing like an unstable person who shows tendencies as a psychopath and sociopath (thank you insanity due to supernatural causes and apathetic nature).

Some of my older watchers might recognize this guy even though he's gone through a few tweaks. He's probably my favorite villain since he's such a wild card and sarcastic though honestly I just need to develop my other story villains more as well as his comrades. Vex wins in terms of insanity and killing sprees though. He's from my Chronicles of Phyx series that I created back in high school as a JRPG fantasy and am currently still writing and sort of plotting for a comic version (maybe). It's heavily inspired by Asian culture but mixes with European myth and medieval culture.

*Hair color: Black (reaches just past his shoulder blades, is mostly keep down and not always in a loose bun/ponytail bun)
*Eye color: Rusty brown/red (Red due to his blood pact/cursed blood heritage)
*Personality: He is aggressive, rude, a tad impatient, unmerciful and cruel though sadism mainly appears during his blood craze. He enjoys a challenge, fighting, being the strongest, teasing Jazelia for a reaction, taunting Marrik (whose eye he gauge out); he loathes waiting, rain, being rebuked/told off and being imprisoned. He is a wild card that can either backfire or mow down the enemy. He has times of clarity and calmness but due to his corrupted blood heritage his sanity slips and leans toward lethal violence.
*Choice of Weapon: Clawed gauntlets or clawed hand weapons
*Fighting Style: Melee/Close Combat
-Vex fights using a mix of street martial arts and slashing with his usually armor clad razor sharp clawed fingers. (His fighting style is basically MMA such as muay thai and boxing techniques, coupled with slashing when wearing sharpened finger weapons (which is almost always)). He specializes in surprise and quick attacks, aiming to maim and disarm while overwhelming the enemy with confusion thanks to his speed and force. Most of his opponents and victims bleed to death or from shock from their wounds more than him straight out instant killing. (Like a cat he at times plays with a victim, sometimes maims them but doesn't kill yet they still die due to trauma, other times he straight out kills). When his blood pact actives he enters a blind rage and fights using berserker techniques (basically a wild, mad animal).
*History: Vex is from a poor family with a single mother. He became an orphan when a fire claimed his home and killed his mother (unknown if he set it though he bares the burns from the incident). Vex lacks proper education but has street smarts and enhanced fighting ability thanks to street brawls and competitive fighting for most of his childhood to young adulthood where he became known as the Blood King in gladiator circles. Eventually he left the fighting world and went on rampages, guilty of some mass murders in villages. Vex spent a number of years in prison after finally being subdued and captured; in that time he was docile and isolated in a dark stone room, all limbs chained but suddenly broke out one day. He was recruited by the lead villain but he more joined out of curiosity and boredom than loyalty.
He is mentally unstable, at times appearing in his right mind by acting calm and apathetic though playful by taunting or being dramatic. Despite his lazy and calm demeanor his crazed eyes and malicious smirk betray his darker character. Often compared to a lazy cat who doesn't care until frisky for the hunt, Vex will toy with potential victims before eventually going for a kill. The metal collar around his neck is a souvenir from his time in prison as he can break it off easily (as he did with other chains) but choose to keep it out of habit and invoke fear in his victims that not even chains can hold him.
*Powers: By his own training Vex possesses fast reflexes and impressive speed ability. His tainted bloodline gives him enhanced strength, stronger than an average human and strong enough to fight even with a bulked up opponent (or strong specie like Marrik of the Aeiin) despite his lean appearance; however it makes him mentally unstable as the ancient blood pact was meant to originally enhance the owner's abilities in battle and save their life (boosted adrenaline rush plus supernatural powers). The lack of constant fight for survival, such as the war it was originally meant for, causes the blood owner to become savage in times of peace or simple excitement due to the pact becoming unsteady, causing them to enter a fight-to-survive state that can evolve into senseless killing.
Vex is somewhat aware of his heritage and partly takes joy in the killings though half the time he's so overcome by the blood drive he doesn't remember how many he's killed; for the most part he uses it as a weapon to enhance his abilities though when the blood pact takes full hold, he is uncontrollable as a beserker.
-The originator of the pact ages ago never nullified the agreement due to the combative lifestyle of its owner's clan thus can pass through blood relations, such as Vex. It eventually eats away at the owner's sanity and lifespan, causing them to use their abilities outside of battle/war and driving them to an early death either by their own hand, carelessness during a mad fit or simply using up all their life force. Vex inherited the blood curse through his father whose whereabouts and fate is unknown.

He scarcely wears shoes due to many years of never wearing them, but wears sandals at times.

Vex hardly wears his lion skull mask save during public fights that aren't part of his killing sprees. He often wears it when fighting bare handed or using Tiger Claws; he either puts his hair up or keeps it down during these fights. As he is a wanted criminal, he doesn't mind being seen when in battle, but when posing as a fighter under Jazelia's influence to gain info and allies he must wear it. However he is not above removing it as a shock factor since he is fairly well known, but not everyone knows of him or his face.
