Drakesprite

This is my most recent baby whose species I've had in my mind really on and off for years. It was only recently I got an idea for the shape of the head and cranked this little guy out. Originally he was going to be another dragon or a gargoyle but I threw some dragonfly wings on him and my Drakesprites were born! I mean, I've always liked the idea of miniature dragons!

This little guy specifically is Grib. I want to make a mannequin of him probably when I get into a class where we have to make a character sculpture. Also this is the adult form of this little guy in my tail wag animation: [link] Here though since this is the adult form the markings have formed and brightened with colors for mating purposes. (I have seen this happen with mammals, birds and reptiles). The duller colors with the baby are for camouflage reasons.

I will probably do more color tests later to show diversity with the race since dragonflies themselves can range from red to blue to green to yellow to iridescent. Looking at photos at damselflies is amazing too.
