Far Across the Universe

Alt title: In a Galaxy Far Far Away.... _{Or: Smexy Ol' Mech Stargazing While Being Pensive}

Happy Birthday!!! For one of my first and oldest friends here on dA that expanded beyond just this site: Chai--Latte Thank you for your years of friendship that I will always treasure and remember the crazy but fun stuff we would talk/RP about as well as other things. You are one of the best things that ever happened to me, you are a big blessing _{Only for you would I suffer drawing something I hardly ever dabble in. I love Ede but I still hate doing non-organic shapes OTL} I hope you are able to enjoy your birthday to the fullest and find some relaxation and fun, you deserve a sanctuary day!

It's Edenrod's time to shine!! Or at least have lots of light bouncing off of him. I was really inspired to do a galaxy drawing with him namely because of his mission/being a star-traveler and also the portrait Chai did of him a while back; and the ol' boy loves his star gazing (perhaps while thinking of his mission) _{The sad part is you can't see his true color scheme due to the lighting. His base colors are spot on, just. SHADOWS AND LIGHTS OF THE SCENE CORRUPT THE IMAGE}

Drawing this really made me think of the movie "The Voices of A Distant Star" (Hoshi no Koe), which it's been a long time since I've seen it (only watched it once, but I have the soundtrack), namely of the the song "Through the Years and Far Away" (lyrics here). But I think the basic scenario fits Ede as he is far away from all he knows and is alone for the most part while on his quest/mission.

And yes, I did make a galaxy just for you. The CH-I galaxy.
