Description
Finally it's done! I haven't made a plushie in 2 years! So rusty... I'd made the bases for bodies but I haven't completed one since 2012! I had this body laying around for over a year with the intention of it one day being Bumblebee. Unfortunately I lost motivation/school got in the way so I didn't get around to making the pattern and cutting out the pieces and stuff.
THEN I had a break in January and I finally drew out the design, cut the pieces and pinned most of it. Then the trailer for the Transformers Movie 4 came out and Bee got a new design. SO. I figured I'd better get my butt in gear and finish this before Age of Extinction is released and Bee's overall design from movies 1-3 is outdated.
It's ridiculous how hard it was to find a good shot of Bee's back. Thank God they made the meet and greet character for Universal Studios and someone took snapshots of Bee's back. But getting good shots of the waist down to the back of his legs/feet WAS STUPIDLY HARD. So I had to make it up a bit, plus I mixed part of the movie-verse design with the Muggs figure design as well as guessed on my own. But I got it done!
I used fabric for his eyes to match my other TF verse plushies, though most of my plushies have them painted on.
This is the beta version. If I have time to open commissions I'll do so in the future and offer remakes of this design. However he is for my own personal collection unless someone really wants him. Since he's the beta version (slight things imperfect/might change how I do the eyes) I'd offer a slight discount but right now he's mine.
Due to the large gap of time from when I started this project to when I actually picked it up again and finished it, it's hard to estimate the length of time. This estimate includes the drawing of the plushie design which took some time due to limited resources/fine tuning.
Time: About 4 1/2 days
100% Hand-stitched body, all accessories attached via hot glue gun
Materials: Eco-friendly/acrylic felt, filled with poly fiber
Height: 8 inches/ 9 inches w/ helm "antenna"

You may not use this pattern or claim as your own. You are free to ask for advise and be inspired but it may not be a nearly identical match to this plushie. That is stealing, not a derivative work.
